SAME DAY FLOWER DELIVERY IN SYDNEY.

Little Flowers FAQ

Here are some answers that might save you from having to chase us down at 5am at the flower markets or while we’re on the back of bikes while delivering.  If you can’t find the answer here, send a quick email to hi@littleflowers.com.au and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?

We specialise in delivering fresh bunches of flowers in Sydney, from Monday to Sunday, from just $45. We offer just one style of mixed bouquet at a time, and prioritise locally grown, seasonal flowers.

WHY DO YOU OFFER JUST ONE MIXED BOUQUET A DAY?

There are a few big reasons. Firstly, we believe flower sending should be easy. Offering just one bunch a day means we can take the decision fatigue out of sending flowers for our customers. Secondly, it means we don’t have to stock all the flowers ‘just in case’, so there’s less waste, less cost to you, and fewer carbon emissions from imported flowers. Finally, curating just one bunch at a time means we can jump on the best produce at market when local, seasonal crops are at their strongest and most beautiful; which means we can give our customers the best quality produce at the best prices.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT THE BOUQUET OF THE DAY LOOKS LIKE?

We design a new style each market day (that’s Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Once we’ve bunched it up we take a photo and upload it to the product page of our website, here: xxx. The new bunch is always on our site by 9am. We also send out an email alert, which you can sign up for here xxx. Whatever day it is, rest assured the flowers are always beautiful.

CAN I ORDER IN ADVANCE, OR DO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE NEW BUNCH?

Yes, you can absolutely order in advance (most of our customers do!). Just jump onto the order form and you’ll be able to select a delivery date and you won’t have to think about it until you get a sweet ‘thank you’ message from someone special.

I’D LIKE TO ORDER IN ADVANCE, BUT I REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE BUNCH WILL BE LIKE. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?

While the mixed bouquet does change throughout the week, you can rest assured each day it will look beautiful. You can check out our Instagram page if you’d like to get a sense of our style. If you prefer to lock in something very specific, we offer single variety seasonal bunches (like all tulips for example) which can be ordered in advance. Check out our Seasonal Special page here.

DOES THE MIXED BOUQUET COME IN DIFFERENT SIZES?

Yes, it all depends how much love you want to give. You can choose Little, Large or Luxe.

WHAT SIZES ARE YOUR MIXED BOUQUETS?

Sizes can vary a little depending on foliage etc, but here are the rough height measurements our florists use for consistency: Little = 30cm, Large = 45cm and Luxe = 55cm.

WHAT ARE YOUR “SEASONAL FLOWERS”?

Our Seasonal bouquets contain just one style of flower. Eg, just Sunflowers, or just Peonies. They are always Australian grown, and they are only sold at the time of year they are naturally in season. So you can be confident that these blooms haven’t travelled too far, and haven’t been under artificial heating or lighting. Bunch availability depends on the farmers growing them and, of course, Mother Nature. You can check out what’s currently available here. You can also sign up to our newsletter to keep informed about availability.

DO YOU DO BESPOKE BUNCHES, EG A SPECIAL COLOUR SCHEME?

We can certainly help with something bespoke if you’re looking to place a large order of  20+ bunches. Email us here with a bit of info, and let’s see what magic we can work for you!

Absolutely! We offer same-day delivery to all areas in Sydney listed above. Just be sure to order before the 12.45pm cut off time.

WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO ORDER BY FOR SAME DAY FLOWER DELIVERY?

Get your orders in before 12.45pm for same day delivery.

IS DELIVERY INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE FLOWERS?

Delivery is now only $10 to over 150 Sydney suburbs. We do our best to keep this as low as possible.

WHAT TIME WILL MY FLOWERS BE DELIVERED?

As our couriers deliver by the most efficient route on the day, we can’t give exact delivery times. However, our first orders are dispatched around midday and the majority are completed by 4.30pm. The very latest your flowers will be delivered is by 5.30pm to businesses and 7pm to residential addresses. We’ll be in touch by email or phone if any problems come up with your delivery.

CAN I REQUEST DELIVERY AT A SPECIAL TIME?

We’re conscious of keeping costs down for our customers and are committed to minimising our impact on the environment. For these reasons, we batch all our deliveries together and send our drivers on the most efficient route on the day. That does mean that we can’t accommodate requests for specific delivery times unfortunately.

WHAT IF THE RECIPIENT ISN’T HOME?

Don’t worry, our couriers are masters when it comes to making sure your flowers are left somewhere safe.

HOW DO I KNOW MY LITTLE FLOWERS HAVE BEEN DELIVERED?

When your order is complete you’ll receive an email to confirm your flowers have been safely delivered. (This might come in slightly later than the actual time delivered because our couriers are bad at riding bikes and typing at the same time!). If you have any queries feel free to contact us at hi@littleflowers.com.au.

I WANT TO SEND LITTLE FLOWERS AT THE WEEKEND, CAN YOU HELP?

Yes! We can! We deliver flowers from Monday to Sunday so can help you put smiles on faces the whole week through.

YOU DON’T DELIVER TO MY AREA YET, BUT I REALLY WANT TO SEND LITTLE FLOWERS – WHAT CAN I DO?

You can pester us, prod us and maybe even make a special request if it’s extra romantic, but just know that if we can’t get to you just yet – we’re trying our best. Please keep an eye on our facebook page, or insta feed, so we can update you as we grow.

HELP! THERE’S A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER! WHAT DO I DO?

OK, don’t panic. Email us as soon as you can and put ‘Help’ in the title if you think it will, well, ‘help’. We know that sometimes a recipient leaves work early, is sick or has moved offices. Because we operate on super-quick turn around times, we ideally need 24 hours notice to change or cancel an order. But if you’re nice and the flowers haven’t already left the building, we’ll do our best to accommodate any change. You can reach us at hi@littleflowers.com.au
