There’s something about Christmas in Sydney that’s a little bit magical. Maybe it’s the long, bright evenings, the last-minute swims, or the way everyone suddenly remembers six different end-of-year events they promised to go to. Maybe it’s the salty air, the cicadas, and the feeling that even in the chaos, we’re all trying to do something thoughtful for the people we care about.
And that’s really what this time of year is about: small gestures that make someone’s day feel brighter. A festive bunch. A candle that smells like a Christmas evening. A little pack of delicious treats. A plant for their kitchen bench. A subscription that keeps delivering joy long after the wrapping paper is gone.
This is your feel-good guide to Christmas flowers and gifting in Sydney – the 2025 edition.
Sydney Christmas has its own rhythm: sunlight, sea breezes, a hint of humidity, and those beautifully unpredictable summer blooms.
This year, we’re leaning into the season with Christmas-themed bouquets in classic red, white, and green – festive but still very “Little Flowers.” Nothing tacky. Just fresh, thoughtful, seasonal beauty.
You’ll also see single variety seasonal favourites like:
– Hydrangea in bold purples, pinks and blues
– Garden Roses in pretty pastels
– Dahlias in their full summer glory
We prioritise locally grown, and we batch our flowers – meaning we make several bunches at once instead of dribbling out random one-offs – because it keeps everything fresher, fuller, more efficient, and more affordable for you.
We have to talk about Christmas Bush – that vivid, uplifting slice of the Australian landscape. When it’s good, it’s incredible. When it’s not… well, that’s nature.
Supply and colour vibrancy is totally weather-dependent, and each year plays out differently. It can arrive early, late, or in short bursts. If you want to be the first to know when Christmas Bush lands, sign up for email alerts on the product page – it tends to disappear fast.
It’s the perfect take-to-lunch bunch: festive, generous, and unmistakably Australian.

Locally made treats from one of our favourite Sydney creators:
– Ginger lemonade
– Smoked chilli oil
– Tomato relish
– Orange marmalade
For the foodies, the home cooks, and the “I never know what to buy them” gifters – this one always lands beautifully.
A classic, cheerful Christmas moment. Easy-care. Bright. Beautiful for homes, desks, reception areas, or workplaces that want a dash of holiday colour.
We now have a curated selection of add-on treats you can pair with any bouquet or pack, with some particularly Christmassy options:
Hunter Candles “December”
A contemporary, woodsy, indulgent scent described as an evening under the trees with a drink in hand, wrapped in pine, fir, clove, rosemary, aged leather and a wisp of smoke. It’s Christmas, but made cool.
Rachel Castle 2026 Diary
Bright and bold with a declaration to get “…fully excited, like beside ourselves” for 2026.
It’s the perfect little boost heading into a new year.
We’ll be adding more gift packs and add-ons as the season goes on, so check in whenever you’re ready to shop.
Christmas is one of our busiest times of the year – and also one of the loveliest.
Here’s how to make it smooth:
– Pre-order early, especially for Christmas week and limited seasonal flowers.
– Same-day delivery is available right up until our daily cut-off.
– Some festive bunches are only offered in the final week or two before Christmas – again, that’s nature doing her thing. The next available delivery date is stated on the product pages so should be easy for you to find
– Weekend delivery is available.
– And yes, we deliver all across Sydney – homes, offices, hospitals, reception desks, you name it.

If you want a gift that stretches far beyond the big day, a Little Flowers subscription is the warmest, easiest way to do it.
It’s delight delivered – again and again.
This one is especially gorgeous at Christmas. From Hydrangea to Dahlias to Garden Roses and everything the summer season brings, it’s a rotating parade of the best local blooms. A great way to start to the new year.
We have a few different subscription options, so you can pick the rhythm and the style that suits your favourite person. Check them out here.

We also deliver real Mini Christmas Trees, available from 1 December – and they always sell out early, so it’s worth getting in quick if you’ve got your heart set on one. And because we’re all about feel-good gifting, we’ve solved the age-old Christmas conundrum: what on earth do you do with the tree once the holidays are over?
Each Little Flowers tree comes with the option to have it collected in January and returned gently to the earth, rather than ending up abandoned on kerbsides or in landfill. We’re proud to partner with Jamberoo Mountain Farm in the Southern Highlands, where trees are cared for in a way that honours the land. It means your Christmas can feel festive and thoughtful – a little moment of joy that doesn’t leave a big footprint. Perfect for homes, offices, and anyone who wants their decorations to feel good in every sense.
Corporate gifting can get a bit… same-same. Imported wine. Branded chocolates. Hampers wrapped in plastic.
Flowers and gift packs – especially locally made ones – feel more personal, more memorable, and more sustainable.
We can help with:
– Bulk flower deliveries
– Poinsettias for desks and reception areas
– Christmas trees for foyers
– Staff thank-you gifts
– Client gifts

This is one of our favourite things about Christmas.
We’re partnering with Meals on Wheels again to deliver flowers to older Australians across Sydney – people who may be feeling isolated, especially at this time of year.
Here’s how it works:
1. You purchase a bouquet for a Meals on Wheels recipient.
2. We double the love and donate a second bunch.
3. Volunteers deliver flowers in the run up to Christmas (and into the new year if orders go crazy!)
It’s a beautiful way to make the Christmas holiday brighter – someone you may never meet, but who will absolutely feel the generosity.

Do you deliver on Christmas Eve?
Yes – we’ll be delivering flowers right up until Christmas Eve afternoon / early evening. Just get your order in before the 12.30pm cut-off time (or ideally earlier, in case we sell out)
When should I pre-order Christmas flowers?
Earlier is always better, especially for Christmas week. We’d advise ordering 2-3 days in advance to ensure we have availability.
Is Christmas Bush guaranteed?
No – it’s weather-dependent so we’ll only send it live on our website when we’ve had confirmation from farmers that the quality and availability is good. Sign up for alerts to be the first to know.
Can I add gifts to my flowers?
Yes! We have gift packs available and you can also add on items at checkout like chocolate, a candle or even a 2026 diary.
Explore festive flowers, gift packs, subscriptions, Christmas Bush, and our Meals on Wheels partnership – and get your Christmas tree delivered from 1 December.
We’d love to help make your 2025 Sydney Christmas feel festive, bright and beautiful.
